Excellent experience, a godsend to arrive at Dr. Layman's office after several years dealing with a botched root canal. My present dentist, who looked at my issue and said it was beyond his skill set, referred me to Dr. Langan, said he was the best and would take care of it, and he was right. Excellent and courteous staff, wonderful follow up. I feel in great hands.

I was referred to Dr. Langan's office due to a possible cracked molar, as it was not evident on the 2D x-rays that had been taken at another office. I really wanted to find out what was going on with this tooth and get it treated correctly. I met with Dr. Langan and he answered all of my questions to my complete satisfaction. I was impressed with his skill and professionalism, he was extremely kind and caring. A 2D and 3D set of x-rays were performed but again it was difficult to tell if a crack was present. The 3D x-ray did appear to show what looked like the suspect crack. Due to the small size of the filling and the tooth showing no sensitivity to his testing there had to be something causing the issue in an otherwise healthy looking tooth. He again explained the options in detail and based on his expertise I opted to perform the root canal. This is a procedure I have never had done before and I was so confident in his skill it put me at ease. He told me before we began that if a crack was discovered and it extended too deep there would be no other option but an extraction. The crack was clearly discovered a few minutes after starting and it did run down under the gum line into the root, it could not be saved by the root canal. Although this was not the outcome I had hoped for Dr. Langan was excellent from start to finish, I was so impressed with his ethics and his integrity. I have no doubt that had the tooth been able to be saved by his root canal it would have been of the highest quality I could have hoped for. Thanks again Dr. Langan I appreciate all your help and generosity!

The whole procedure was explained in detail, in layman's terms. Everything proceeded as outlined on the planned schedule. It was practically painless as promised. I can't say it was a pleasant experience but i have to believe it could have been a lot worse. Recovery has been excellent. I would definitely recommend Dr. Langan.
